In the fourth quarter of 2024, the maps and navigation app sector in Qatar saw varying trends across the top five applications. This analysis, powered by data from Sensor Tower, provides a closer look at the performance of these apps on a unified platform.

Uber - Request a ride showed a consistent pattern in weekly downloads, starting around 6.3K and culminating at 7.6K by the end of December. Meanwhile, weekly active users hovered around 400K, with a slight dip mid-quarter before rising to approximately 411K.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic maintained a steady increase in downloads, peaking at 5.4K in the final week. However, active users gradually decreased from 246K to 212K over the quarter.

badrgo experienced fluctuations in downloads, reaching a high of 5.9K early in December, but finishing the quarter with 3.9K downloads. Active users showed a positive trend, rising from 32.5K to 37.5K.

Karwa Journey Planner saw moderate growth, with downloads peaking at 2.3K mid-December and active users stabilizing around 62K towards the end of the quarter.
